Co-op installing new "Smart Meters" Washington Electric Cooperative began installing the new TWACS meters in northern Noble in December of 2007. Over the next three years, all Co-op members will have a new digital meter installed at their home. The meter will not only eliminate the need to read the meter but will also provide daily consumption and outage related information to the Cooperative. This information will be helpful in improving response time on outages and providing detailed information to consumers with electric consumption questions.
